Dr. Kelly Ioannou

Kelly Ioannou is a Dr. of Digital Criminology, specializing in technology-mediated and gender-based violence. She teaches at the University of Athens (EKPA), ICPS College, and serves as Associate Professor of Criminological Psychology at the University of Central Lancashire. She is a certified Trauma Coach with extensive experience in the rehabilitation of victims of digital abuse and family conflict. She is a registered Expert Witness at the Piraeus and Athens Courts. In 2019, she founded TraumaHelp, a mental health and forensic support center. She is also the founder of the NGO “GineAnthropos”, dedicated to combating gender-based violence, and the CEO of CyberX. Kelly has many years of journalistic experience in crime reporting, combining media, research, and applied forensic expertise.
